Questions about gas
Does my old boiler have to be replaced straight away?
Not necessarily. We also repair and service very old gas appliances so they keep running efficiently and safely. If replacement makes more economic sense, we will tell you honestly – and advise on alternatives and funding.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Do not operate switches, no open flames, open windows, close the main valve, leave the building and call the gas emergency number 128. We then take care of the repair.
How often does a gas system need to be inspected?
It depends on the federal state and grid operator. In Vienna gas lines must be inspected regularly; we are happy to advise you on the deadlines for your property.
